Full of Firsts

Last week Isabelle experienced a few major milestones, the first one showing us just what a little drama queen we have on our hands. After a fussy day of short naps and a runny nose, Isabelle kept us up most of the night with a fever, lots of crying and a stuffy nose. We thought for sure she was just sick with a bad cold. The next day her nose was dried up, but she wouldn't eat and randomly cried for no apparent reason at all. Finally I clued in and put my finger on her gums...sure enough a little razor sharp tooth was coming in. This refusal to eat and fussiness went on for a few days, but now she is back to her old happy self. How many teeth do we have to look forward to???!

Alas, the little one is on the move! Poor thing has learned how to crawl backwards which inevitably gets her stuck in a corner. Life's tough without eyes on the back of your head! Nobody puts baby in the corner.

As she learns to get around, she also learns to get into things. Magazines are her favorite!
